Not only is ‘Me & My Mentor’ a great opportunity to get out and network, at the event, at least three recipients of the Verity Scholarship Program will be announced. Our first event for 2019 will be held on May 23, featuring Port Authority of NSW CEO Emma Fensom and her mentor Tony Cousins. Follow us on social media for updates.
“I’m delighted to be able to formally launch the 2019 Verity program in the Hunter and contribute to the growth of diverse talent in the region. We have capable people within our region who have the potential to be world leaders in their chosen profession. It is Verity’s mission to ensure that people from a wide-range of backgrounds – be is socio-economic, genders, cultures, or abilities – contribute to the development of the region by sitting on our Boards and our Management teams. Mentoring helps ensure people grow their confidence and capabilities and will help to contribute to the shift in demand for talent, to develop more diverse leadership teams.
