University of Newcastle’s Faculty of Business and Law is proud to be working with Verity Leadership and Heartful Coaching to host a half day career strategy and goal setting workshop. This workshop is aimed at mid to senior managers, who are looking to devote time to clarify their leadership vision and direction for the next 12 months. Each attendee will walk away with an achievable goal setting action plan for 2020.
This workshop will be facilitated by two successful UON and Hunter Leaders
Dr Kristen Molloy:
Kirsten is a CEO, Director and leader who is passionate about Diversity in Leadership. Kirsten founded Verity Leadership to focus on creating a leadership population that actually reflects the demographics of society. The gaps are significant and the challenge is very real. Verity Leadership works with Board Directors, Executives, Leaders and aspiring Leaders to support greater diversity in leadership and on enhancing leadership skills. Verity leadership supports the development of knowledge, skills and capability to support empathetic, engaged and connected leadership.
As a professional coach, Lauren works with leaders fromHeartful Coaching who are looking to gain more clarity and confidence and develop a clear action plan for their career or life. Lauren is a Non-Executive Director of the Hunter Business Chamber and leads public affairs for a large corporation. She has held leadership roles within the Hunter Region and the United Kingdom, spanning the utilities, logistics, health and medical research and not for profit sectors. Lauren is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an ICF qualified coach and is a Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) graduate of the University of Newcastle.
Attendees at this workshop will be joined by Women in Master of Business Administration (WiMBA) Scholarship holders.
The WIMBA initiative aims to redress the gender equity imbalance by offering scholarships to female students in partnership with leading organisations.
WiMBA provides the leadership skills and strategic perspective to move female employees into senior management and executive positions.
